First 24 to 48 Hours: What to Avoid
• Heat and sweat: Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts.
• Friction and tight clothing: Wear loose-fitting, breathable cotton underwear and clothes. Skip thongs, tight leggings, or synthetic fabrics.
• Friction and intimacy: Avoid sexual activity for 24 to 48 hours to prevent irritation and bacterial transfer.
• Water and sun: Stay out of swimming pools (chlorine), natural bodies of water (lakes/oceans), and direct tanning or sun exposure.
• Touching or shaving: Do not touch, scratch, or pick at the area, and never shave between appointments.
Immediate Soothing & Cleansing:
• Keep it clean: Wash gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser. Pat dry gently with a clean towel.
• Calm redness: Apply a cold compress, 100% pure aloe vera gel, or a soothing post-wax gel like if needed.

For 24 to 48 hours:
Keep them dry: Avoid water, heavy sweating, steamy showers, swimming, and saunas for at least 24 to 48 hours.
No makeup or harsh products: Skip brow makeup, face oils, serums, retinoids, and exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs) near the brows.
Don't touch or rub: Avoid rubbing, picking, or flattening your brows.
Watch your sleep position: Try not to sleep face-down on your pillow during the first night.
For Ongoing care:
Use a clean spoolie each morning to brush your brow hairs into your desired fluff or shape.
Keep them hydrated: Apply a nourishing brow oil, castor oil, or recommended conditioning balm to prevent dryness.
Be gentle with skincare: Wash your face carefully and steer clear of harsh anti-aging or exfoliating treatments right over the brow area.
Expect tint longevity: Brow tint typically lasts about 2 to 3 weeks, while the lamination lift itself lasts around 4 to 8 weeks.

What to Do:
Cleanse gently: Wash your face twice daily with a mild, fragrance-free, sulfate-free, and non-abrasive cleanser using lukewarm water.
Prioritize hydration: Apply a soothing, barrier-repair moisturizer containing ceramides, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or squalane. Your skin absorbs products much better right now.
Protect with SPF: Wear a broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day, even when it is cloudy, because fresh skin is prone to UV damage and hyperpigmentation.
Keep your hands off: Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at your face to prevent transferring bacteria to your vulnerable skin barrier.
Wait before adding actives: Wait at least 24 to 48 hours—or up to a week—before slowly reintroducing serums or treatments.
What to Avoid:
Skip makeup for 24 hours: Avoid wearing foundation, powders, or heavy cosmetics for at least a day to keep your newly exposed pores clean and clear. If you must wear makeup, use clean brushes and fresh products.
No harsh exfoliants or actives: Stop using retinoids (Retin-A, retinol), physical face scrubs, cleansing brushes, and chemical exfoliants like AHAs or BHAs (glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid) for at least 5 to 7 days.
Avoid heat and heavy sweat: Skip strenuous workouts, hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for 24 to 72 hours to prevent irritation and redness.
Stay out of direct sun: Avoid tanning beds, swimming in chlorinated pools, and prolonged direct sun exposure for about a week.
Delay other facial treatments: Wait at least one to two weeks before scheduling strong chemical peels, laser treatments, waxing, or threading.

For 24 to 48 hours:
Do not wash the area on day of procedure.
For 3 days:
Press area with a dry PAPER TOWEL or GAUZE to absorb any excess fluid. DO NOT USE TISSUE
For 7 to 10 days:
Always use a very mild soap on the area and re-apply the After Care Lotion. Before bathing apply a light coating of After Care Lotion on the procedure area using a clean cotton swab.
Wear a hat to shield the area from the sun when you go outside. Continue this regimen until the procedure area has completely healed.
Do not wash/use makeup remover on the procedure area(s) or apply makeup for 24 hours.
Do not touch the procedure area(s) with your fingers, they may have bacteria on them and create an infection.
Use a clean cotton swab to apply After Care Lotion 5 times daily for 7 to 10 days.
Avoid contact with animals, gardening, sun, sauna, jacuzzi, chlorine pools, ocean, steam room.
To preserve color for a longer time, always use a “total sun block” sunscreen until the area(s) has healed to prevent future fading of pigment color.
Do not use products that contain AHA’s on the procedure area(s). (Example: Glycolic, Lactic Acids) Always check your product labeling as these products will fade your pigment color.
Avoid swimming, tanning, steam rooms, or Jacuzzi for two weeks.
Most microblading procedures are a two-step process. Final results cannot be determined until touch-up application is completed. The touch-up is intended to fill in any discoloration caused by the healing and shedding process. We strongly suggest to all clients that they make an appointment and come in to let us see the procedure area(s) whether or not they feel they need a touch-up.

The First 24 to 48 Hours:
Right after your wax, your follicle openings are vulnerable and sensitive.
Avoid the "5 S's" (Sun, Sweat, Swimming, Sex, and Scrubbing): Skip the gym, heavy workouts, saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and tanning beds for 24 to 48 hours to prevent sweat and bacteria from clogging open pores.
Wear loose, breathable clothing: Opt for loose cotton garments rather than tight synthetics, jeans, or shapewear to eliminate friction against tender skin (especially important after a bikini or Brazilian wax).
Soothe the skin gently: Apply pure aloe vera gel or a calming, fragrance-free post-wax lotion if the area feels warm or irritated. Avoid heavy, pore-clogging oils (like straight coconut oil) or thick bar-soap residues right away.
Do not touch or pick: Resist the urge to scratch, touch, or pick at any minor post-wax bumps or redness.
